Yea looks like alot of m-peg 4 HDchannels have been uplinked to 61.5 satellite.I guess they are testing them there and are probably planning to move some of them to the 110 sat or 129 sat.Who knows?I think they realize they need to catch up with D.

Hmm Do we know what these are??

MT65
MT66
MT67

DRMT8

UP's

Encrypted MPEG4 HD test channels that DishNetwork doesn't want you to know about yet. That way no one can complain when the contracts fall through. ;)

And just like the other person said...DRM test is probably a good answer. I haven't looked yet but I'm betting those are simply mirrors of already present video streams.

We've seen these come and go before. They are doing some sort of virtual testing for spotbeams. Don't pay much attention to them just yet.

Maybe the E* hopefull ballon is loosing a little altitude, but I am sure the Sci-fi and USA will be lit. Just a matter of time. And hopefully not much of that either.

I am sure Charlie is in heated negotiations right now for new HD programming ;)

Charlie is a hard ass and why we're always lacking on certain channels. We still dont have the YES network period. In addition no MSG HD or FSNNY HD. The excuse always was the those would not allow satellite providers to carry their feeds. Now that D has both, the excuse is gone.

Expect to lose NYC locals to a spot VERY soon... I know this much. Hence if you are someone who has "moved" there... you are about to be SOL in that regard. Either way, what gives. This is getting mega tiring with Charlie.

I am one who moved to NYC. I've done this because OTA doesnt get me all locals (not that I should have to worry about that anyways). I'll be severely ticked if I'm without local HD channels again... unless we can finally launch Buffalo locals.
