Hi all Matthew
First time user , First post
I live in Australia we are wanting to know about up load speed to a satilite
Area last stop before Tasmainia, so Melbourne
We have a farm and can only get dial up

We would like to run cameras qynt 20 ip cameras its for a Nature farm for Kids to view from school, how fast can you get from a satilite , and who would be cheep

Yes i know i am dreaming, that it will be cheap, but i thought that i maybe go through some one OS rather than dealing with our poop telcos in Australia

Quoted $3000 grand per month from telstra australia

Can any one help with this Thank you :(

Wow, welcome! I have no idea what satellite Internet providers serve Australia, but I bet somebody here does.

$3K a month is for what? Fiber, DSL, T1?

Wow, that's expensive. I really don't know if anyone here will have an answer for you, but if you play video games online then satellite is not the way to go. The ping rate is horrible.

Not that they offer service down under... but take a look at the hughesnet site to get an idea of what kinds of speeds are available for upload.
