I'm new to the site. can't wait to pose a question and get some expertise.:)

I need a place in San Francisco to recycle a discarded Direct TV dish. Standard size,
not HD, newish. I don't want to pay a thing to get rid of it. A neighbor moved and left it behind. There may be another as well.

I've searched online and there seems to be no resource for this. You would think in a city as aware as this they would be grateful to accept these.

Hi remster, welcome....

If all else fails dump it in a dumpster. The dishes are metal so if you really want to recycle there are recyclers all over. I don't know where you are in SF but if you Google 'recycle, San Francisco' you will get an idea about where they are.
