Did anyone notice that (or maybe I missed it.) that on the 446 version, after the DVR is paused for 1 min, the screen goes to 50% brightness? I was tickled, b/c the pause bar easily ghosts on our plasma with the bright whites they use.

I didn't notice it, because that didn't happen with either 446 or 447 on my 622. I understand the burn in factor, however if the pause bar itself went away after a few minutes, that should be sufficent.

Maybe your TV is smart and auto-dims the picture if there is no activity.

That would be a great feature if it existed in the DVR, as long as there was an option to disable it.
