This bloke is wrong you do not fill these batteries up to the top, they are designed to be a non spill battery meaning they have got an absorbent material wrapped around the cells which stores the Acid/Electrolyte so that when you tip the battery upside down it wont leak everywhere, if you do what this person says it will leak everywhere. If you want to top up one of these batteries you should top it up close to full, let it sit for a few minutes too absorb the Electrolyte/Water, then tip the battery upside down and let the excess water drain out, and your ready to charge it up and if none of the cells are already damaged your battery will charge up correctly. Almost forgot to mention its much better to use a mixture of 35% sulfuric acid and 65% Distilled water, but if using straight water yes its better to use Distilled water.
