What functions does the search feature support?

At one time if I wanted to do a search for post that contained all the words

PBS
.ts
record

I could enter

PBS and .ts and record

It would work and I would get a list of posts that contained all those words only, now that doesn't seem to work I get a list of posts that contain any of those words.

I must be doing something wrong what is the correct search string?

I agree..I used to run boolean search strings on the old vBulletin site, but that capability hasn't worked in quite sometime. vBulletin v4 was supposed to fix the search function but, so far, my search expressions have not returned anthing useful. Scott is pretty busy so I thought I would give him a break before I brought it up.

the issue is the .ts as its not considered a 3 letter word.
