Is there some technical reason why it takes so long for DISH receivers (722 & 211) to receive signal after being powered on? It's really a pain to wait 10 minutes (never "up to 5" like the screen says) for the receiver to come up every time after starting the generator (Thanks Sandy!). Could it be due to my hybrid installation (61.5/72.7 D500, SW44)? What's the determining factor in the speed that those blasted 5 green bars fill in? Would a standard EA dish setup be faster?
It was never like this in the good old days several years ago. Isn't the receiver smart enough to store the last dish configuration?
