Senior CNET Writer Resigns Over Dish Controversy

Well let me pat you on the back for being right then!

A few weeks old but still worth reminding folks. At a minimum this is a big problem for CNet who over the last few years has been working to re-pivot their offerings to into a more focused product. They have been having editors show up more often on CBS radio, and generally trying to make their site more useful. The technology reporting industry is pretty small, and while the impact for the general public may not be too huge, the impact within their industry will be huge, and painful.

This is a major setback for C-net. I'm sure they'll recover but they'll be dealing with the fallout of this for a while.
