We strive to be online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But there are times when gremlins pop up and we could be down. In addition due to the nature of the internet there may be times, you can get there from here... :)

I have placed a number of monitors online which if you are a regular SatelliteGuys user you may want to bookmark, so if in the event you can't get here you can better see if its our servers or not.

First off we have our new SatelliteGuys Offsite Monitoring service which you can access at SatelliteGuys.US Website Monitor
Code:
https://uptime.scottsservers.com/status/satelliteguys

This one monitors our server every 20 seconds in two different ways.

1) It loads the site and looks for a keyword on the page to insure webpages are being served by the Apache Server
2) It pings the site every 20 seconds. This helps see if the problem is our server or something with the Apache Web Server

Secondly we have service from XITORING which monitors the servers from over 30 locations from around the globe. They check our servers every 60 seconds, and check the following:

Ping - Is the server online
HTTPS - Is the Apache Web Server Running
FTP - Is our FTR / SFTP Server Running
DNS - Are our DNS Servers Functionals
IMAP - Is our IMAP email service running
POP3 - Is our POP3 email service running
HEARTBEAT - We have a script running on the server which reaches out to the XITORING server showing that its alive and well.

You can access the XITORING status page at SatelliteGuys Server Status
Code:
https://satelliteguys.xitoring.io/

We honestly never want to be down, and rest assured we will do everything to keep things going for all. And IF for some reason we are down... we will be back online shortly. :)

Thanks for being here!
