Setting Disecq on a Dreambox800

You would think its very easy but Im having a lot of truoble setting it upI only get 1 of 4 ports it has a lot of settings and the simple way of abcd does not work, I would also love to conect a 6 port DMI international

Yep I have a 800 SE. I'll see if I can't scare up a pic for you that shows what works with a 8-port switch. IIRC you have to set the switch setting to uncommitted and the port settings open up for you.

And don't feel bad I haven't found anything easy about the Dreambox. It might be powerful, but its horribly complex.

Okay looking at it here i think I left it committed and just set the port 1-8. If that doesnt work, set the committed part to uncommitted, scroll down and set the port in the uncommitted section. I don't really remember exactly how I did it but I think its one of those two.

Are you using just one 8 port switch or are you cascading them behind a 4 port switch?
