My SG2100 motor tells me to set the elevation for my latitude to 52 for 39.85 and a declination on my dish...

However using Dish Pointer, it tells me to set my elevation on the SG2100 to 39.85 and the elevation on my dish to 29.37...

Which settings would be right?

on the SG2100 there are 2 scales. A latitude and a elevation
use the latitude side and set it for the same as your latitude which is 52

declination on the dish is 30-your declination. Check dishpointer. For myself in Minneapolis its 7 so the dish elevation is 23

Set it at 52, all I get is 34 channels on 61.5. Dishpointer says to set the elevation to 39.85, did that, waiting to rescan the satellites, and see if it works. Using the SG2100 manual recommendations on the declination and elevation results in only 61.5 getting any channels, and only 34. Uisng a DM800HD. With my Pansat it showed signal strength of 77% on Galaxy 28, my true south bird, I'll try it with the 39.85 elevation that Dishpointer says to use with the SG2100 and see if any improvement, otherwise I'll have to play around with it, maybe on my S10 when I get it.
