sg2100 Noise

As some of you know, getting ready to install my geosat96cm and sg2100
on roof, my concern is how noisy is the sg2100 when moving to birds. I live
in a Mobile Home Park. there is about 20 ft to my neighbors home, just dont
want complaints, once i start surfing, espicially at night.

Shouldn't be a problem especially if on roof. Mine is about 20-25 ft from house and I never noticed any noise.

Mine is quiet. Do a bench test before you put it on the roof to see just how noisy it might be.

it's all relative:

I have a STAB HH-90, and consider it pretty quiet.
However, I live in noise polluted suburbia.
There is a major intersection under 100 yards away, with three all-night gas stations and a 24 hour diner.

On the other hand, if you live out in the country, where you can hear a mouse fart at a mile, and the silent wing of an owl is annoying, then the motor will be heard!

Also, if your neighbors are young and party 'till the wee hours, they likely will never notice.
If they're they're an older crowd, and go to bed at sundown, well. . .

I have to go outside to hear if my motor is operating, and the dish farm is on the shed roof right outside of my back door (Moteck SG-2100) ...
