Shaw Sunday Ticket?

Assuming there will be an NFL season (?), will Shaw finally do it in HD? A few years ago, after I signed up, I found out it was SD and never watched it.

Last year 3 of the HD PPV channels were used for the NFLST. I doubt much will change until late next year with the launch of the new satellite. They do have the NFL RedZone in HD btw.

if the specialty sports packages are in mpeg4 as rumored, they may all be in HD

NFLST/NHLCI will require 6XX receivers this year. Signals will be MPEG4 HD only - no MPEG2 SD or HD feeds - except for those from stations already carried by Shaw.

Thanks for the info SE. That is great news for me, so they should have more HD channels available for ST and CI this fall.
