TOP STORY - The Federal Communications Commission adopted an order that extends reciprocal good faith bargaining obligations for retransmission consent to cable and satellite providers. The move, part of the FCC's implementation of the Satellite Home Viewer Extension and Reauthorization Act, imposes the same bargaining obligations on cable and satellite TV companies as had previously been applied only to broadcasters in retransmission consent negotiations."
