So I have been a sirius subscriber ever since howard went on air with them. I have had a starmate replay in my honda civic which has been great since it is portable and i can bring it in the house( before it came to my smart phone an such). Well we recently got a 2008 honda odyssey and I saw that it had XM in it. I was thinking great all I need to do is call them up and add another radio to my account since I already have the sirius starmate. Boy was I wrong and it seems crazy that after all this time they can't have one billing system. I had to get a 2nd account for the xm radio in the odyssey since the two systems are not intergrated. Hello then why do you call the company SiriusXM. I think this in crazy to have two accounts. Any one else run into this. I should be getting a discount for multiple radios regardless which one I have Sirius or XM. Needless to say being a reader of this forum I was able to get 5 months for $22 not bad and even cheaper that just adding an additional radio but come on get with it Sirius XM. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Did they charge you full price for both accounts ?

Probably not, you should be HAPPY, not MAD, you go a MUCH better deal than alot of others.
I got a good deal (have 3 radios - XM) about $ 300 for the XM +BOS ...

I’ve been a dual subscriber for years. I’ve had XM since August 2003 and Sirius since October 2004 and have maintained subscriptions to both post merger. I used to have three XM subscriptions and two Sirius subscriptions but now I’m down to one of each. I keep an XM Delphi Roady XT Plug and Play radio in my car and at home my A/V Receiver has Sirius built in. I used to pay $50/month for radio total with my five subscriptions between the two services and online streaming. Now I pay close to $41/month for just two radios and online streaming. It sucks. I wish they would just go ahead a merge the billing systems already. And there’s no reason I should be paying $8 extra to have the Best of XM on my Sirius Radio and Best of Sirius on my XM Radio.

Sure there is, you've been paying it and they see no reason to change that. You can always vote with your wallet, it's your choice....

I questioned this last July when our new vehicle came with Sirius and we already had XM (since 2003).

I got the same BS that they could not add my new Sirius Radio to my XM account. Not only could they not merge them but they would not give me the discounted rate for adding another sub like they would with my XM account. The company merged 2 years ago and since the merger prices have done nothing but go up with service degrading.

I politely told the Sirius woman when they called (10 times minimum) to get me to re-up that until they got their billing merged I was not going to reactivate the Sirius radio. I am continuing to get letters from Sirius offering the $77/year deal but refuse to accept it until they merge all of their operations.

I noticed in the last few weeks that the XM account web page is now merged with Sirius but their FAQs still state you can't merge the accounts for billing.

I just purchased a Toyota that has XM installed. Have been a Sirius sub since 2004. This is really going to stink if I want satalite radio in the new Toyota. Guess I better ask for a "good deal" since I cannot get this billing combined and a discount off of the second receiver.
