I need a fixed 5000, a Voom firewire, or a 921 to catch Adventures of Baron Munchausen. That plus Hudsucker Proxy on HBO (please Voom soon).

Sho is really getting better. K-19 is very good now (stands up well to original theater viewing on release) talking story wise, nearly as compellinbg as first time around.

I switched to K-19 from NFL and then Zorro and it has been very good. I am going to watch it from the beginning the next time it is shown. K-19 is a must see.

Hmm, I must have been napping when that abbreviation was explained.

It was nice watching it in 16:9 with no compression artifacts vs. the DVD that can't get the explosions and underwater scenes right without pixellation. I stopped watching at 9 to jump to HBO-HD but will probably catch it again this month.

Here's a fun thing to do..... Watch the movie and look for the clues which pay reference to each of the 19 previous movies (The briefcase from Russia with Love, Halle's bikini belt with the knife recalls Dr. No, Jet Pack from Thunderball, Halle tied up as a laser is about to cut her into kibble a la Goldfinger, etc.). I finally caught one from Octopussy that was stumping me (The plane from the opening teaser sequence).
