Sorry if this is old news, but I just noticed HD non PPV movies and series being offered. Hope HBO will do likewise at some point.

Showtime and Starz have both had VOD up for quite a while now.

HBO & Cinemax will probably be contigent on a new agreement between HBO & D*.

I believe that is partially why we don't have more HBO HD stations yet either.

I know I'm new here, but I would think that since HBO is the most expensive premium channel offered by D* someone (HBO or D*) would make more of an effort to justify the higher cost. Things like more of the available HBO offerings, VOD service, etc. would go a long way in that direction.

True, but I hadn't noticed HD offerings from Showtime before. I'm happy to see any On Demand HD movies that aren't PPV.

I've tried a couple of the DoD HD offerings, like Rocky Balboa, and even though the program info says DD5.1 audio all you get is DD2.0.
