Sidebar shows up every time I load a page

While the new server is online Scott is still working on the backend including the cachine. But the site is usable while the work is being completes!

Normally settings are stored in cookies on your computer, but it appears our cookies are now too big and the save was not being stored in the cookie. So I changed the setting so everything for settings is saved in the database.
I found it came back but I toggled it off again and it’s gone!
You will need to leave some conversations or become a pub member. Regular members have a 500 message limit. Pub Members are unlimited.

Yes, I am seeing that same behavior.
That is because the settings are now stored in the database not in the cookie that is stored on your computer.
If you are not logged in it does not know what your settings are.

I am logged in, I never log out. Each time I leave the website and then return I have to toggle off.
Storing settings in the database works for all but the first time we return to SG. Thereafter, it works. I don't really understand what is happening. But I speculate that "the database" purges itself once you go away and return. Once you toggle it off again, it stays that way until next time.

I can return it to the old way but then the hiding the sidebar no longer works.
They say it’s due to one of our addons. But with over (from memory) 80 of them it’s hard to say which one is it.
