Had Dish for 3 months and no issues til today and randomly I'm getting "Satellite signal is lost, signal acquisition is in progress".

Well, usually during rain it will bring up a bar and show the progress. Today all it's showing is the channel, satellite 110 and spotbeam 4.

It does nothing else. Now, I can switch to another channel and the channel is recaptured but this is getting annoying. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Yes...if you have an OTA antenna hooked up to the receiver, tune to a channel that has a strong, consistent signal, then tune to whichever channel that you want to watch. If this is your scenario, it's a bug in the system.

bug in my 722k or just in general? Should I give Dish a call in the morning?

Nah, don't call. When the last OTA signal tuned to has a fluctuation in signal, even when tuned to a sat channel, it causes the sat signal to be disrupted as well. The only cure at the moment to to tune to a strong OTA before watching sat channels.

edit: lots of folks here are having that issue

Appreciate the input.

I'm gonna see how it acts today, just seems odd that it's been flawless and now something is happening. I could understand if this occurred right out of the box and didn't just start yesterday.
