Ok so I need a little help. I am just recently having a problem with signal loss on my locals. I have an HR22 and a slimline dish. When I look at my signal strength, I am getting high 90's and even 100's on my meters. Now, I know that might not mean much for my locals. Which sat's are my locals on? Some transponders will show lower than others.

It seems to be weather related because it's raining out now and I've got little to no picture coming through on my locals. My other channels appear to be just fine. I never had this problem before. I don't think my dish shifted at all cause I'm still getting very high signal stregnth.

I don't know... does anyone have any suggestions??? Any other tests I should run?

Thanks for the help!!

Also, not sure if it matters, but I am in the Boston area.

You locals are either on 99s or 103s. And the Ka sats are more susceptible to the so called rain fade. That's why it is very important to get those signal strengths as high as possible.

Boston locals are on 99s.

Is there an easy way to test 99s without separate signal meter? Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
