Signal strength new vip 922

Just had a new vip 922 installed was looking at signal strenght an its around 60 to 70 percent.Had the new black turbo dish installed also.Just wondering if this is low or do I need to adjust it.Tech said thats the best he could do .I have a clear view no trees or anything.

What's your zip code, and are you on Eastern Arc, or western arc? Either way, the signal is probably about right.

That number is not a percent. It is just a "number". What are your signal strengths?

These are the averages for the area on varying transponders for WA satellites (not minimum threshold that techs have to meet)

110 - 72-73
119 - 70-78
129 - 42-55

The minimum that techs have to hit is about 10 points lower than the averages, so you're signal is probably fine

Maybe with a freakishly large dish, but with the 1000.4's, I don't think so

I had a 922 installed a few weeks ago with the new black dish. I'm on WA, and I don't have any problems. My numbers.

119 - 67

129 - 51

80 and low 90's in SOME areas.

Here in the Southeast on 119 I have 84-87 on some transponders with my 1000.2.
