signing up for Dish.. hands off to a phone call?

Trying to sign back up for Dish (been gone for 2.5 years)

when I go to the website, and start signing up

a) it let's me pick the # of TVs but nothing about picking 1 type of Hopper vs. another
b) I can't pick install times, it says someone will call me... I did this 2 nights ago.. and missed the call (cell phone downstairs).. and they never called back

WTF kind of signup process has Dish gone to?

Which website are you using to sign up? I paid a visit to dish.com and went through the link to sign up for services and one of the options on the first screen is selecting an install date. It sounds like you're signing up through a retailer's website.
 
Yes, by all means go through DIRT (Dish Internet Response Team). They are listed in Red in the on duty staff column. Zach and Mike are on duty now. They are the GO TO folks!!! No matter which provider, if you can deal with humans instead of a website, do it.
 
thanks.. Once I switched to Firefox everything was more as I expected (didn't see a way to indicate I wanted wireless Joeys vs. wired?) but I was able to schedule an appt.

(I was using Chrome when I had the issue)
