Newbie question for all you experts out there:
I'm preparing to buy a Coolsat 5000 system, and want to know what the difference would be to me getting a single, dual or Quad LNBF.
I'm thinking of setting up a motorized system with either a 31" or 35" dish. Since it is motorized, do I really need more than a single? I would think that a motorized system would move between satellites...
By the way; FYI: I'm looking at a CoolSat package from FTA Direct.
Thanks for the assistance!!
-Chuck

welcome :wave

the only reason for a dual would be to run 2 receivers off one satellite

the quad is a combo circular/linear (for regualr satellite and DBS slots for the free audio) so its actually 2 duals in one

I've used a single now for a long time...works great for one recever
