Been doing checks of the error ChatGPT found on the BotGuard and the logs have been clean. So I am hopefull we finally found it.

So if this was it, it was not anything wrong with the server or anything we changed here it was the data provider used by the BotGuard plugin that was (and is) actually having issues.

So I am glad the server is good and everything tests fine with our server. As I said before I take great pride in this server and always want it the fastest it can be. :)

Goodnight!

Yes, when it was occurring it wasn't a delay at every turn. Like paging back would be instant, but calling for a different forum there'd be the long white screen.

I reported my findings (Well ok ChatGPT's findings) about the Bot Guard Reverse DNS issue, and it turned out the same started happening to other forums yesterday afternoon as well. Others were blaming it on the new Xenforo update that came out the other day (that I have NOT applied yet) so we know now that is not the problem.

So I am happy, it wasn't just us. :) ANd more happy that it is fixed. :D

I just had a 4-5 second white screen when I opened the Web App on my iPhone, much like yesterday.

And, reloading the page is taking much longer than it should:

It is being reported that the issue was a problem at Cloudflare with one of the servers they do IP verifications on and that the problem is now fixed.

WIth that said I am still keeping that setting off. :)

As with any site, there can always be hiccups, especially when things are happening on the servers such as backup. An occasional hiccup is ok and is to be expected. However what that hiccup starts happening to many folks then its not a hiccup anymore.

Many times the issues are outside our servers, which is the nature of the internet, but other rare times it is our server.

So if you see a slowdown and it does not happen again consider ita hiccup, however if the problem keeps on going then report it and I will take a look.

This one was an issue outside our server, however it harmed our performance as an add in was trying to use a database which was outside our servers that we had no control over. Luckily we had a way to shut that off and keep everything going. :)

Logs show that it aborted after running out of Worker Processes.

Further sluthing by ChatGPT showed that the backup crashed and kept trying to start new sessions again and again until it crashed the web server. It gave me some suggested config file changes, but its the first time that has happened and the server is running (normally) so well that I don't want to mess with right now, but is Something I will keep an eye on.

Scott, I was having major issues getting connected around noon ET. Looks fine now. I captured a Safari session that was showing high CPU utilization in the Rendering of the page, like 90+%. I have a JSON file I created that I could share.
