Skip forward bug? (722)

I noticed a bug with my receiver that's pretty annoying. When I'm watching a DVR recorded show and press the skip forward 30s button to skip through commercials, the icon will remain visible after I return to my show unless I press the cancel button twice.

Anyone else notice this? Any solutions? I'm worried that over time, this could possibly "burn in" to my screen if someone forgets to cancel out of it.

That means it's time to reboot . Pull the plug and plug it back in and it should go away.

yep common bug..seen it on 612 and 622 as well.Reboot usually cures it.

I see people reporting this bug all the time... Does it also occur on the 722k? Luckily I haven't experienced that one yet on my 722ks.

Have never seen it on either of my 722Ks. However, I do a plug reboot about every two weeks to keeps the bugs away.

haha, reminds me of a post I saw here a while ago where someone was concerned about returning their receiver to DISH because they suspected a roach was in it .

But yeah, I never cord reboot.
