Sleep Mode

Have you guys ever heard of a Direct TV D10 receiver going into sleep mode every 5 days or so? Mine keeps jumping into sleep mode and the ICON bounces on my screen in the middle of watching TV. Ofcourse to make this go away all I have to go is change the channel but what gives?! Direct TV has nothing to tell me about how to turn it off so am I just stuck?

yes a lot of installers at DishRetailer.COM are complaigning about the same thing since they use these for their headends.

The bouncing D* logo is a screen saver on the D-10 model receivers. Apparently this is a known issue. Channeling up or down as you have been doing will clear it and I believe a software upgrade is scheduled soon to fix this problem.
