The Slimline dish is the one that is used to receive DirecTV's MPEG4 channels (HD) from the 99 and 103 satellites.
There are four combinations with regard to the LNB used.
There is the 3LNB version to receive 99, 101, and 103, This comes in the SWM and non-SWM version
There is the 5LNB version to receive 110 and 119 along with the three above.
This also comes in the SWM and non-SWM version.

As far as I know there is only one slimline dish but the LNB modules vary. The one that is being installed now has only one "cone" whereas the earlier ones had 3 (and maybe more, but smaller) "cones." I hope that answers your question. There was an oval dish which preceded the slimline. I believe the slimline was introduced when the 99 and 103 position sats came onboard and programming switched to MPEG4. * I see JD posted a much more authoritative answer while I was typing mine.
