Sling Adapter on new MacBook Pro- Will it work?

Was interested in the Sling Adapter. Have a new 13inch MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Intel Core i5. The compatibility test fails. Says I need at least 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo chip. The 2.3GHz i5 is no slouch. Has anybody tried it with that processor? Don't want to go to all the trouble to get it then it just not work because of the processor. I do have the HD-DVR and do watch almost all HD. Thanks for the help

There are two different requirements for remote viewing through sling. HD content through DishOnline is:

• Intel 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo class processor or equivalent
• 2 GB of RAM
• Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later
• Browser: Safari 4.0 or later (in 32-bit compatibility mode), Firefox 3.5 or later

SD Content through DISH Online is :

• Mac
  • Intel-based Mac
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later
  • Browser: Safari 4.0 or later (in 32-bit compatibility mode), Firefox 3.5 or later
