Sling + Android = System is currently unavailable

I received a sling adapter about a week ago through the rebate special, but I cant seem to get the Dish app to run on my Samsung Infuse Android without getting the message "The System is currently unavailable, please try again later. (1002)".
I'm able to watch online on laptops, but not on my android, or various iphones or ipads.

I have seen a couple of threads about the same message from about a year ago, but they dont seem to reach a solution, is anyone having this happen?
 
I use sling and android and it works for me. Here's how I get it to work.

1) Load program
2) Quit program
3) Load program again. Then go to the guide data and hit refresh
4) Hit refresh until only your actual channels come in.
5) Hit "Live TV" up on the top right. This will then get you the live programming.
6) Type in the channel number that you want to watch via one of the on-screen displays

The DVR functions typically work for me as well at step 5 if you're wanting something on your DVR.
 
Hey Max.

I tried your way, but could not get past the 3rd step. I can't get past the login screen.
I have tried numerous things such as changing my login ID on dish.com, or password, using full email instead of ID, etc.
