Software update for direct tivo r-10

The updates come via the satellite, but it needs to make a phone call to enable it.


That is correct but there's a problem with call sites not supporting s/w updates. I searched a lot of forums and came across this number for Pittsburg call center that is supporting s/w update:

1-412-471-1103

If forced call is successful, a pending restart should appear in the system information screen.

Turns out, mine was already updated, I just needed to read some more information. 6.4a is latest.

Update: Finally got my Vonage to work with these units, ( i have 2). Took a little researce and found that *99 in dial prefix works perfect.

Got my 6.4 software and everything is in its folders now!
