Receiver: HR24/100 (not internet connected)
Software: 0xb9c
Updated: 1/23

Problem: Picture goes into a sort of "stutter" when scenes change, sort of like slo-mo for a few seconds. I have read this is a symptom of non-updated software. Also gives message "This receiver has become disconnected from the home network." when in the "list" function in recordings. I have, many times, "forced" a software update via reset and 02468 and every time it "finds" new software, goes to the "downloading new software" screen and gets to 97% and then blinks and says 100%, then goes to the regular receiver reset and ends back up at the current software with no update.

Same thing happened for about 2 weeks prior to the 1/23 update, then the thing just updated "naturally" in the middle of the night one night, and all was well until the a few days ago.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Suggest you try - a search on CLEARMYBOX -then search all - the receiver will reset -flush the guide and rebuild. Reloading the Same firmware Does nothing - your current software hasn't changed since you got it - even thou it says "NEW" software.

Right, the software the OP listed is the current National Release .... so hes not gonna get anything newer unless he decides to jump into the beta software.

Tried what you said. After about a half-hour of the same symptoms, it has seemed to clear up and operate properly. Thanks.

PQ seems better as well, for some reason.

Only the Genie's excluding (HR34) are on Beta Software testing all other receivers are no longer in software testing
