Hi all member !
I am new baby in this forum. I need all your help for my SONICVIEW HD-8000 .
I had it about year 2004 , then after that my kids watch alot and forgot their home works.

Now they grew up and I would like to use it for FTA channels , but my FACTORY files dont have 97w (97 West )
I did not remember what the SAT NAME of 97 W .

It may be the Intelsat , Echo , or Galaxy .
So Please be kind to give me the NEW FACTORY FILE for SONICVIEW HD-8000.
and gave me the LNB Setup . I forgot It transponder was how much MHZ . , Frequency , I have no switch , and motor.
Now time changed . If I need SATELLITE LIST to Instal to my box . Please give me one.
I am very appreciated for your help .
Sincerely Yours

97 West can be under a variety of names
Telstar 5
IntelSat Americas 5
IA5
Galaxy 25
Galaxy 19

But in all honesty you can pick any satellite and rename it 97W if you'd like

:welcome to Satelliteguys.

That receiver has long been discontinued so no new support.
However, like Iceberg said if all you want is 97W just pick a satellite and use it for 97W.
The receiver don't care what it is labeled.
If you have a dish aimed at 97W just pick one and scan.
If you are looking for a pretty current transponder list go here: http://sathint.com/97W
Use the frequencies that start with 11706 for Ku.
12152 H 20000 is a good one to use for aiming your dish for 97W.

as others said, just add the satellite in if you have to manually,

on a side note, that is an awesome receiver, if only it did DVB-S2

The only thing about the satellite settings that matter is the LO
That describes the type of LNB your dish is using - 2 types to get 97w are: Standard linear is 10750 and Universal is 9750/10600. Set 22khz to auto.
