One of my receivers, a Sony A-65 satellite receiver for D*, shows a few "ghost" stations in the guide. It shows WDSU on channel 6 (NBC) and two entries for WNOL channel 38 (WB). Channel 6 indicates program not available in your area. Channels 38 will show other stations I receive such as my local channel 2 and 27 and sometimes channel 380, or 269 or other various channels I receive on other channel numbers. The two channels shown on the guide are New Orleans stations, eventhough I live 2000 miles from NO. Are they using these as a test for "significantly viewed stations" since these NO stations are obviously not on the air at this time? Does anyone else with this type of receiver getting these "ghost" listings?
