My Sony Bravia KDL-52V4100 is also due for an upgrade. But its got a vertical line of stuck pixels. Other than that its been good. But when I get around to upgrading, my new TV won't be a Sony.

I have an 55HX755 at home.. and love it despite the APPS lacking big time. The only reason Ill upgrade in te near future is for a larger size but it will definitely be a Sony

Yeah I have a old Sony 50inch DLP which has ran well but I'm overdue for a upgrade so I will either go to a 55 or 60 this time around.. :)

When I first got the 55" my initial impression was how huge it was which wore off quickly the following week.
Personally, a 70" would fit my wall nicely.

Those prices are staggering. Or is it just me?

I don't think so, XBR's are always priced at a premium. The smaller sets at least are similar to Samsung pricing.

Guess I'm having sticker shock. I've owned 3 XBRs in the past, but these prices were way above what I expected for a 65-75" set.

I haven't really shopped those sizes, I was going by the 55". I paid almost that much for a Samsung 8550 in January.
