Sportsnet NY HD on Dish this summer

SNY sources at 1080i. may have something to do with it looking better than ESPN HD at 720p sourcing.

Yes, I'm in bristol right next to you. How do i do a check switch?? New at troubleshooting never had an issue w/ E* before.

MENU 6,1,1 then select check.

Did a check switch and a receiver reboot. Now it comes and goes. Keeps loosing satellite. All my other channels come in and no weather problems. I guess I'll call E*.

Rangers are on MSG/FSNY, not on SNY-HD. And, barring a remarkable about-face, we won't see HD versions of those channels on satellite.

Rangers are on MSG/FSNY, not on SNY-HD. And, barring a remarkable about-face, we won't see HD versions of those channels on satellite.

Yeah thats why I asked. I thought maybe SN NY was showing the games also along with MSG. Al least thats what I was hoping for

No, I mean on satellite (including D*).

Cablevision thus far has kept MSG-HD and FSNY-HD as cable exclusives. I don't care WHAT D* claims on its website.

I am confident enough to say this despite the fact that I haven't had D* for over a year. If someone has ACTUALLY SEEN Rangers in HD on D* then I'll stand to be corrected, but everything I've seen and heard indicates otherwise.
