Hello, I have a STAB motor that has decided to take a nap on me (hopefully not dead). I had it in my shed for months and finally got time to set up my 1.2m dish at my new house. I had to on the pole and moving around fine. Went to 129w and back to 91w. No issues. Then I send it to 97w. It lands there and I tweak the mount and all to peak the signal.

I get a strong signal on 97w, but the STAB refuses to do anything now, USALS nor Diseqc 1.2. Different receivers have no effect. I use an amiko HD265 as the command receiver. This had served me well in the past.

Any ideas? I have opened the motor case and see nothing out of place. Connections look good. The manual unfortunately is not helpful for any real troubleshooting.

Have you tried connecting the receiver to the motor directly? Bring the motor inside or take the receiver outside. I had very similar issues with a Stab HH90 after moving and discovered my coax from the receiver to the motor was just way too long.

NB Parallelthread seems to be here: STAB HH 120 Dead

I believe the circuit board of HH100 and HH120 often are the same.
- Have you checked the F-connector soldering contacts on the circuit board (does the loop-through to the LNB still work)?
- With older STABS, sometimes the flat-cable connections corroded.
- Did you measure R20 on the circuit board, when you have a circuit board as in this thread: STAB HH100 onderdeeltje doorgebrand
(When you don't understand dutch, use google translate or so.)
If that is burnt through, that is bad....
