Stargate SG-1 Discussion

[rockymtnhigh]

I watched that again Saturday and it's got some serious film grain issues in some scenes, but definitely not enough to be annoying or ruin the viewing or enjoyment of it...

Well, lets see...something done by Sci-Fi have film grain issues. Nah, never.

[rockymtnhigh]

Just finished Continuum. Really was a great "episode" er...movie.

But the Blu-Ray's extra feature... the making of continuum is in seriously bad 480i. Come on, its Blu-Ray!

Prometheus Unbound is today's SG1 Episode...where we meet Vala

[long_time_Dish]

I really like that episode too. Really funny stuff.

[dfergie]

Moebius Part 1 at 6 pm 2.19, Part 2 same time 2.20 on Scifi...

[dfergie]

Watching "It's Good to be King" ... first jumper sighting (by SG1) and a Maybourne episode(which were always good like Cheers vs. Garys Old Time Tavern's )

[long_time_Dish]

One of three Maybourne episodes that I like.

[long_time_Dish]

Watched "Moebius, Pt 2" today and noticed that "Katep" looked really familiar...duh...Gaeta *bonk head*...never realized that before...turns out he was in "Scorched Earth" too.

Yes, I know, "Athena" was on SG1 also...

Please, don't hit me too hard...

[dfergie]

Yeah I too saw Gaeta... no limp

[long_time_Dish]

Nope, no limp.

Man, they were young back then... I feel freakin' ancient....

[dfergie]

Threads is on today, then the Ori Arc begins Tuesday with Avalon...

[long_time_Dish]

Probably not the extended version of "Threads" that aired initially though...

[dfergie]

200 was on the other night... and I ended up watching the whole thing...

[long_time_Dish]

200 is a lot of fun... Threads was the shortened version...no surprise there...

[dfergie]

There was a SG1 marathon on Friday (that I forgot about, but at least set a timer for 1 program on my Directv Dvr a couple of weeks ago) watching "The Road Not Taken"... (I had a partial recording of it) Good one...

[long_time_Dish]

Sorry, I should've posted a reminder about it...I got all of them, including Unending again (in upconerted HD, to replace my old SD version). I really like that episode...

[dfergie]

You know the upconverts look pretty good on a larger screen... I'm a sucker for the alternate universe Scifi shows anyway...

[long_time_Dish]

The upconverts look good, period. I watched part of Unending SD and then watched most of the upconvert and there was a very noticable improvement...

[dfergie]

McGruber was on SNL last night...

I thought it was very funny to have MacGuyver be MacGruber's long lost father.
