Thats what gets me about some people running down shows or movies... ;) It's entertainment, don't question... :D

It's good if the speculative science stays consistent and doesn't get changed from one episode to another just for the sake of the script. SG-1 tried to stay consistent.

Sure there were some differences between the original movie and the series, but they made a better series because of the changes.

And they totally ruled on handling of story arcs, bar none.

Yeah, SG-1 was very good with the speculative science staying consistent through most of it; Atlantis lost some of that in many ways, AND SGU went off the deep end in that regard.

I just watched Allegiance, what so far was my favorite episode of Season 6. Oh, "The Other Guys" was funny, but this was very good.

I agree. The Jack and Maybourne interactions were always funny. Simmons was annoying. And to be honest, John De Lancie is type-cast in my mind. Always Q.

Yep, especially the "Starsky and Hutch" lines they used in a couple of episodes. :) I have the same issue with De Lancie...maybe he did it intentionally, but he's always Q to me as well. TNG, SG1, Torchwood...he's always Q...

I remember him as Eugene Bradford on Days of our Lives. ;)

lol You guys are funny :) My hubby walks into the room when I am watching my recorded soaps and insists I dont bother turning them off because there is nothing he wanted to watch anyway. Then he is glued to the screen.... he evan has nicknames for some of the characters. Of course he would never admit that to anyone either.
