And tonight's episodes:

Prisoners - season 2, episode 3 (intro to Linea mini-arc)
The Fifth Race - season 2, episode 15 (intro to Asgard)
Touchstone - season 2, episode 14 (intro to tech theft arc)

:)

Couldn't we claim that Thor's Chariot is the first intro to the Asgard, since Sam and Daniel meet Thor inside Thor's Chariot, and then Thor's ship comes?

I would agree to that, yes... :)
Guess I just think of The Fifth Race as the first "official" type of meeting, though both episodes are a sort of "first contact" situation...

I am enjoying the thread starters, but kind of want to go through a whole thread. I guess that's why, when I saw Thor's Chariot, I was drawn to it. :)

Solitudes is the first of the "second gate", a thread that came up now and then & could maybe be considered the first Jack & Sam episode also...
I agree...Solitudes is definitely the start of the "second gate" thread, that is used in the "Mayborne tech theft" arc as well as the "Russian gate" arc and several other stand-alone episodes, all of which are quite good. :)

Love the "I swear, it's my sidearm" line in that episode too. ;)
