Pacific Northwest, where it rains a lot...
Man, now I am fast-forwarding. This weeks episode was incomprehensible. A waste of bandwidth.

This episode (pair of episodes? I can't imagine they're leaving it like that) is the epitomy of "kit bashing"... They took elements of both SG1 and SGA (the time-travel/solar flare idea), wrapped it around a creepy chest-buster/back-buster alien creature and threw in the BSG personal/interpersonal elements and created a mess!

I wanted to like this episode, I really did. But by the time it was over, it was so twisted and convoluted that it wasn't worth rewatching to try and figure it out.

And on top of that, Sanctuary was lame too, leaving me with, essentially, two wasted hours and a bad taste in my mouth...

Took the SGU timer off my DVR. I also got tired of the videocam thing. I suppose that was another common theme today ala Cloverfield and others that they wanted to add in. But in that case it was well done. In this case.... not so much.

I am glad I quit watching. I can see that I was right all along about this bomb of a show. When you start skipping a show to get to the end, it is time to delete the timer and move on.

Could not agree more.:up:up

Timer...DELETED.

Maybe we could be lucky and the aliens ate the guy before he could send his warning back in time and they all die and the series could be over. Perhaps then another expedition could be sent to the ship and they start over much better prepared with more interesting episodes.

Another week, another weak episode. They really need to do something. They need something to happen... Last night I thought I was watching a soap opera. I am surprised Tide was not the sponsor....

I can't imagine this show getting any more lame. This just isn't Stargate. It's not even close. Then, Sciffy has the audacity to put the mid-season break 2-weeks away? Sheesh! I'll wait until then to decide, as I said I would, but it's looking about 80-20 now that the timer will get deleted after the mid-season break.

I skipped most of the scenes except those about the chair, as soon as whats his face threw that guy against the car I hit stop and delete, I doubt I missed anything.

I am still surprised at how much this show continues to suck. Can't bring myself to delete the timer yet, I think I will let them pile up on the DVR and watch them or delete them depending on what I hear once the season is over.

The whole going back to earth part has some interesting possibilities, but imho that is what is holding the show back, if tehy stayed on the ship and alien planets it might actually get better.
Anyway cant even be bothered to wait for the mid season break - timer deleted.

Agreed, I thought the stones might bring interesting cameos but they need to go away.

It is more interesting when the stones are used to bring in specialists. Why have they not at least had some cameos from Rodney or even Samantha? They need to fix some stuff on the ship to at least get something to do wherever they are instead of the visit relatives shows... An occasional visit earth show is not bad, but when they run them again and again it is getting out of hand.

...and again and again. Telford's been on the ship, what, three times? No Sam, no Rodney, no Daniel (yet - rumor has it he'll cameo soon). I would think Daniel could figure out the Ancient computer stuff really quick...ooops, can't do that! Wrong demographic! That would appeal to the OLD Stargate fans and we can't have that...
