they say i was bending n reaching into the bags for the small packages/letters that i will injury my back if i did that..
Wow. That's pretty lame. Fired for not reaching correctly. I guess they want to keep their insurance and worker's comp premiums low so they can afford those high paid drivers.
My guess you where coming up on the date to be made permanent.

i started on 1/21/2009
so the first 30 days were trial probation period..
i was going to be in the union starting on March 17th ?
I knew a guy who drove for UPS. He called them the most "anal" company he ever worked for. They had a "procedure" for everything, right down to how many steps you took from the driver's seat to the packages in the delivery truck. Everything had to be done their way, everything was choreographed.
I kinda dont beleive in that company.. and second.. they not hiring in my area right now

went and did the dock tour last tuesday and filled out an application on wednesday.. and got call back from HR dept if i was still interested on friday
But i was in a area where i had no cellphone signal to pick up the call so she left a VM message.. so have to wait until tuesday to see whats up
