still getting some channels

hi,i terminated my dish network service over a month ago,after being with them for 10 years,the equipment belongs to me now.I am still receiving the jewelry channels,auction channels,infomercials,and free preview channel.When i canceled they told me it would shut off in 6 days,is this normal for these channels to still show up.

These channels (shopping and Dish Info) are generally in the clear and visible to all "valid" receivers whether they are subscribed or not.

So you can shop till your drop for as long as you have your satellite connected.
