Story / H&I / MEtv / Movies / StartTV - NO video for 30 seconds or more...

Story / H&I / MEtv / Movies! / StartTV - When i tune to these channels on 101w, it takes around 30 seconds until video comes in. It didn't used to do this, but i lost all my horizontal signals for a long time, and when i got them back a week ago, i noticed this. It doesn't do it for Decades.. Decades video comes right in.

Is this happening to anyone else??

It also occurs on multiple satellite receivers, although i'm currently only using Dreamboxes, but it occurs on all of them, my DM520's and DM920's.

I just checked these and I'm seeing no more than a 2-3 second delay before video appears.

P.S. I'm using a 10' SAMI dish with Titanium C2-PLL lnbf and an Edision MIO+ receiver.

All work fine here,no more than a second or 2 to lock in.
My only issue is MeTV screwed up their clock again,have to set the time manually in the V7.

On 101W, I noticed the Folk TV and Z Living Channels seem to take a second or 2 to display video but always have for me. Others seem normal.

Okay, ill have to pull out another brand receiver and see if it does the same thing... Thanks all..

It stopped doing it today. All video on the channels now come in instantly. Something changed.. Very weird...

Somebody did something because the clock on MeTV has the correct time again.

I'm still getting the delay but everything locks in just fine afterward.

I am so happy this isn't happening any more. It was screwing with me using time-shift on the previously mentioned channels. StoryTV has quickly become a very popular channel in our home.

I am a history buff so I love Story TV as well. My wife, not so much, but we compromise and luckily the shows repeat during a day.
