You want to start??? lol, honestly vurb, you start most of the arguments around here on the subject of BD vs HD-DVD, so as they say, put up or shut up
I do not know Vurbano personally as he's in Va and I'm in NY but after reading all these posts for months I have to say that he really makes me laugh how he gets under you guy's skin.
As for the age difference remarks, maybe he's a little bit of an ageist. I think he's about my age (50s) and I understand somewhat he is saying in his own inimitable way.
I personally have no intentions of buying BD unless, if and ONLY if, it is the only choice left. But I cannot see sinking any money into an expensive BD machine that does not have full hardware capability to do of all the wonderful stuff these clowns have promised. (As an IBM mainframe systems guy,I know what it means to be pissed about having neat software that MUST have a hardware upgrade ($$$) or it doesn't work or sometimes even a new mainframe ($$$$$$$)).
Duals are too much money and has features missing from each format.
All studios, both formats, THEN let's rumble.
