March 13th is the newest revised release date, moved back from today.
Apparently the whip-lashings on the software engineers are not having the desired results that Dish wanted, so they had to move back the date.

A March date does make sense since most of the Hopper products have been released in March. Always right before March Madness.

Not to mention those customers who were original H2000 adopters are now nearing the end of their 24 months commitment. Time to release something later and greater to entice them to renew....

I wouldn't swear to it but I think the original release was about the middle of march as well.

Well, if they're like me they still have another year left because they upgraded to the Hopper with Sling last March. Something new every year.

I'd say this is a pretty big deal. There was a lot of criticism for only having 3 tuners, then the new lease fees for a second hopper, here's a perfect and cost effective solution. Kudus to Dish and its engineers.

I agree, If I didn't have 2HWS I would definitely be interested. With my OTA module I would still have 6 tuners, they'd all be integrated, and I could save a couple bucks a month.

Granted with 2H/OTA you could say I have 7, but in all fairness it's 4/3. My ethernet Joe's would be able to see all the recording without having to re-link to the other Hopper. It's a minor inconvenience, but it's still an inconvenience.

Alright, just got confirmation from Dish that the release date will be March 13th and will cost $10 a month like stated before. For Flex customers the SJ will be $149. For existing customers the cost to upgrade will either be $0, $50 or $100 based on your status with Dish.

MSRP for the Super Joey will be $149.

Looks like the Integrator piece will be included with the Super Joey.
