It seems like a Dish1000 is actually smaller than a Dish500.

OK, at the risk of beating a dead horse, I am still trying to understand what is going to happen to those cities currently served locals by 105. Like some other posters, I am in Richmond, VA and so use the SuperDish to recieve my locals. Apparently these locals are now being mirrored on 129. Is that implying that the locals will disappear from 105 at some point? Scott: do you have any idea what DISH intends to do with 105 now the Echo X is up and running? Are they going to stop using it altogether?

That is what I am trying to figure out as well. What is going to happen to those markets that went from 105 to 129 and still on 105? If they take them off of 105 then they will have to switch all of them to a Dish1000. Maybe they want to wait until more space is available at 110 (or that 118.7 satellite) before they take it off of 105.
