History first: Originally installed a bnig dish in the late 80's. Sat receiver had channel 3/4 output so we installed coax channel block/insertion boxes for channel 3,sat recv'r, and channel 4 for VCR, This allowed any TV in the house to receive OTA from the outside antenna, sat programming via channel 3 and the VCR output on channel 4. The primary (family TV) was feed through the S Video output on the sat recv'r.

Fast forward to latest version of HD recv'r from Direct TV HD DVR, Model (???) HD24 200, with no coax cable output. Since there are TV's in three additional rooms that now have no signal available I need help to figure the most economical method to provide signal. Distances are about 40 ft, 45 ft and 20 ft.

I can't be the only one facing the problem of new technology wiping out older systems. There has to be a simple solution. Its just not obvious to me after much thinking in puzzlement.

Thanks in advance for your considered advice,
Bill
