So I finally got my two DirecTV plus DVR's hooked up and everything seemed to be working great. After about a day, my second receiver started losing signal from port one, then two, then back to one. It seems to go back and forth. It could be the wiring, but before I start climbing around the roof in negative degree weather again I just wanted to check here and make sure I don't need a powered switch or anything with this setup. I currently have a zinwell 4-3 switch. As far as I know thats all I should need...right? I've checked to make sure every things tight, and the receivers brand new so I wouldnt think it would be that. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris

Are your signal strengths good, 90+?

If so, they either the LNB on the dish or the receiver is not working right. If you just had it installed, call them back to correct it, there should be no cost.

And WELCOME to Satellitguys!!
