Is it possible to cascade a 3x4 switch of of a 4x4 switch?
I need to add a 211z and all of the existing 4x4 receiver ports are full.
The dish is a 1000+ (4 orbital)

3x4 & 4x4 usually refer to Directv switches are you asking about a DPP44 switch feeding a DPP33 switch?

A DPP44 going to a DPP33 should work fine. Since you're talking about adding a single-tuner receiver, a DPP44 going to a DP34 should also work fine. N.B. neither of those downstream switches can handle 4 orbitals...

so the 211 (hooked to the dpp34) would not get the 118 satellite and its programing?
He has that horse racing package on the 118 and the 211 is for a kids room (shouldn't be a problem if so)

I presume you meant the DP34 or DPP33... And yes, that is correct. Neither of those switches have 4 inputs, so the kids would be doing without one of the locations, e.g. 118.
