SWM Config Question

Ran out of room on a splitter to add a 5th HD DVR.

I'm going to add a MSPLIT8R1-03 1x8.

Config will be:

Add second RG-6 to second SWM output at dish location and pull to basement and connect to input of the 8-way splitter.

Connect the single RG-6 to the new splitter and I'm good to go.

Question is: do I need to connect the new splitter to the old in order to get power from the power injector? Would I use the "red" output of the new splitter?

All I know is that the SWM can only handle 8 tuners. You're adding a 5th DVR which equates to 10 tuners.

You need to get a SWM16 setup to a legacy LNB (4 outputs).

Also there is no 2nd output at swm lnb (dish) Only has one.
